Held each spring as a fundraiser for community projects and educational needs at Mason County Central Schools. Hundreds of items from hunting and fishing gear to home décor and craft items are donated by local businesses and individuals for the combination silent and live auction. The evening includes refreshments, games and lots of fun, all for a good cause.

In association with WSCC Book of the Semester, a lecture will be given by author and artist Miriam Katin. Born in Hungary during WWII, she is the author of many children’s books and the graphic novel, We Are On Our Own, a stunning memoir of a mother & daughter’s survival in WWII and their subsequent lifelong struggle with faith.

In association with WSCC Book of the Semester, this play is a powerful, haunting and deeply affecting portrait of a family, which conveys the aftermath of the Holocaust through a poignant, imaginatively, conceived examination of one divided family’s experience

In association with WSCC Book of the Semester, a lecture will be presented by Paul Behle, noted historian. He will discuss the “History of Comic Art” and focus on Art Spiegelman, author of Maus.

Conducted by Becky Sopha, an ensemble of talented area student and community singers.

Daniel M. Meyers, WSCC Director of Music and Chair of the Arts Division, leads talented student musicians in WSCC’s acclaimed show choir.

Based on the life and poems of Emily Dickinson, this is an inspiring biographical portrait of a famous eccentric spinster, who just happens to be one of America’s greatest literary figures. Ginger Grace stars as the passionate and mysterious poet in the moving theater experience.

Daniel M. Meyers, WSCC Director of Music and Chair of the Arts Division, conducts these two popular bands, composed of talented student and community member musicians.

Celebrate with the Rangel Family Musicians. Eat and dance the night away with some of the finest Tejana music you’ll ever hear. Delectable Mexican cuisine and exquisite Mexican music by one of Michigan’s favorite Mexican bands.

Concerts every Tuesday evening June through August on the Village Green in Pentwater

A one-day free outdoor festival of folk music, dance, handcrafts. Family friendly. Presented by Spirit of the Woods Music Association

The Ludington Gus Macker typically has 900 teams (3,600 players) participating on 55 courts each year, bringing about 25,000 spectators to the event. Many years, the Ludington tournament has been the largest Gus Macker held in the United States.

Many activities during this festival, most at First Street Beach. Entertainment tent, carnival, kid’s events, marketplace and more.

A community wide summer family festival coordinated by the Bear Lake Lions Club since 1953!

Beginning with a shoreline car and motorcycle cruise and culminating with the ever-popular rubber ducky race down the Pere Marquette River, SummerFest offers something for everyone. Events include a car and motorcycle show in the downtown, arts and crafts fair and a chicken barbeque.

Lake Michigan’s largest fishing tournament with over 250 boats competing in the Pro/Am tournament and just under 100 entries for each of the other contests– Ruboy Thursday, the Ladies Pro/Am, and the Youth tournament.

The Harvest Festival is a long-standing tradition in Scottville celebrating the agricultural history of the area with a three-day carnival, entertainment tent, Harvest Festival Queen’s contest and Grand Parade.

County’s original living nativity procession, pageant, sing-along, live music concert, jingle bell race, arts & crafts, face painting, children’s games, hay rides, chili cook-off, sloppy Joe concession. Visit with Santa, puppet show.

Celebrated in Kaleva by lighting the cemetery with over 600 luminaries. This tradition is a community effort to light the longest night by placing candles in paper bags on loved ones gravs in the Kaleva cemetery. The beautiful, moving sight can be enjoyed the whole evening
